Kenya Airways To Resume Flights Between Nairobi And Malindi

Kenya Airways to resume flights between Nairobi and Malindi from December 6. Kenya operated but withdrew from route during 2008.

DVB Bank (Germany) and ICBC Financial Leasing (China) close five-year US$162.8 million term loan facility. In September 2010, DVB subsidiary DVB Group Merchant Bank (Singapore) arranged and underwrote portfolio financing of eight aircraft on operating leases to four international and China airline lessees.

Waha Capital (UAE) to acquire 20 percent stake in AerCap (Netherlands) in deal valued at US$380 million. AerCap to take control of 54 A320s, including seven on order, from its 50-50 joint venture with Waha, AerVenture. AerCap to also open Abu Dhabi office to manage 40 percent interest in 16 other aircraft owned by Waha, who will pay AerCap US$8 million in new funds and assume US$97 million in liabilities. Deal expected to close mid November 2010.

Botswana and UAE sign air services agreement and signed MOU to facilitate services by designated carriers.
