MK Heads To China

STARTING early July, Air Mauritius will operate a direct service to Shanghai.

Flights will operate via Kuala Lumpur and will offer connections from and to South Africa, Réunion and Antananarivo.

Says André Viljoen, acting ceo of Air Mauritius: “This flight is a first step in our development in one of the world's fastest growing economies and we hope that our tourism partners will find new opportunities for growth as we diversify our tourism markets and as we build up our capacity to East Asia from six weekly frequencies to daily."

Flights will depart Mauritius on Mondays at 22h45, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 09h45 the following day. The onward flight departs Kuala Lumpur at 11h00 on Tuesdays, arriving in Shanghai at 16h25.

The return service will depart Shanghai at 21h20 on Tuesdays, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 03h00 on Wednesdays. The flight departs for Mauritius at 04h15, arriving at 07h15.
