Frost & Sullivan (US) publishes World Aircraft Leasing Market –
Market Outlook and Investment Analysis, which reveals that at compound annual
growth rate of 5.76 percent, total number of aircraft owned by leasing firms is
expected to increase from 6,180 aircraft in 2009 to 8,646 aircraft in 2015,
with Asia Pacific leading way. Pluna (Uruguay) signs
follow-on order for three CRJ900 NextGen with Bombardier, in deal valued
at approximately US$129 million at list pirces. Pluna currently has fleet of 10
CRJ900s. FlyMe (Maldives) plans to
start operations with two ATR42-500s operated by Villa Air
(Maldives) on domestic routes from June 2011. |
